Our Story
In September 2004, the tragic loss of 21-year-old Tim Griffith due to violence inspired his mother, Stacey Redman, to establish the Tim Griffith Foundation in 2005. This foundation honors Tim's memory by providing essential support to those affected by addiction, violence, and loss. Through partnerships with the Bridges Program and the Service League of San Mateo County, Tim's House was created to offer transitional housing for young men recovering from addiction and reintegrating into society.
Impact
The Tim Griffith Foundation has made a significant impact in the Bay Area, issuing over 60 grants totaling more than $800,000 to local nonprofits. Tim's House, opened in 2008, provides a sober living environment for young men, while the Meadowlark Retreats, initiated in 2010, offer solace for grieving mothers and fathers.
