About Tigray Disaster Relief Fund

The Tigray Disaster Relief Fund was established in 2018 by a dedicated group of young professional diaspora Tigrayans. In response to the escalating displacement of Tigrayans due to ethnic conflict and political violence, TDRF has been actively providing relief efforts to families affected by these crises, especially following the onset of the war in Tigray in November 2020.

Since its inception, TDRF has focused on supporting displaced Tigrayans, particularly in Sudan and within the Tigray region, addressing urgent humanitarian needs arising from ongoing conflict and displacement.
