Tides for Reproductive Freedom began in 2018, when a group of individuals from Massachusetts envisioned an abortion fund led by those who have experienced abortion, particularly Black, Indigenous, and Queer individuals. This collective effort has evolved into a dedicated team of staff, board members, and supporters committed to addressing the funding and practical support gaps in abortion access across the state.
In 2023, Tides supported 93 individuals, enhancing access to compassionate abortion funding and transportation services throughout Massachusetts.
