Our Story

Adelaide Tichenor, a dedicated civic leader in Long Beach, faced challenges in her childhood due to clubfoot. Inspired by her experiences, she founded the Tichenor Clinic for Children to provide free or low-cost therapy for children with disabilities. Over the years, the clinic has expanded its services, ensuring that every child receives the care they need, regardless of their family's financial situation.

Impact

Thanks to the generosity of individuals and funding partners, over 40,000 children and families have benefited from essential therapy services at little to no cost.
