Our Story

The Tibetan Children’s Project (TCP) was founded in 1999 by Tibetan refugees in Toronto, Canada, with the mission to assist needy Tibetans and promote their rich culture. Over the years, TCP has evolved to focus on providing educational support to underprivileged Tibetan children across India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. With a growing membership of over 1000, TCP is dedicated to empowering Tibetan youth through education.

Impact

TCP has successfully provided educational funding to 120 children, including 47 college and university students. The organization also offers a yearly scholarship to the Ngonga School of Tibetan Children with Special Needs, showcasing its commitment to fostering self-sufficiency among Tibetan youth.
