Through God Comes Justice Ministries (TGCJ) has been a beacon of hope for inmates and their families in Tom Green County for over 27 years. Founded in 1998, this family-focused jail ministry is dedicated to strengthening relationships through faith-based programs and resources. Led by individuals with personal experiences in incarceration, TGCJ offers a unique connection to participants, fostering a supportive environment.

Making an Impact

In 2023, TGCJ distributed 1,132 Bibles and conducted 4,273 Bible studies, leading to 489 inmates receiving Christ for the first time or rededicating their lives. With over 1,500 hours of chaplain-led counseling, the ministry significantly impacts the lives of inmates and their families.
