Our Story

In 2010, Sarah Broome, a dedicated teacher, founded Thrive Academy to provide a nurturing environment for students who needed an alternative to traditional schooling. Located in North Baton Rouge, Thrive Academy offers a unique boarding school experience where students not only learn but also live, fostering a sense of community and support. With millions raised and state financial assistance, Thrive has grown to accommodate nearly 200 students from seventh grade to high school seniors, ensuring they have a safe place to thrive during the week.
