Thrive for Change was founded by Ashley Rosser, who turned her personal struggles with substance use disorder into a mission to save lives. After losing friends to addiction, she began distributing Narcan and collaborating with grassroots organizations. This collective effort led to the establishment of Thrive for Change as a 501c3 nonprofit in 2021, focusing on harm reduction and community outreach in Ohio.
Thrive for Change has trained over 8,000 individuals in Naloxone use, distributed 40,000 Naloxone kits, and prevented over 500 overdose fatalities, making a significant difference in the overdose crisis in Ohio.
