ThriftSmart was founded in 2005 by Dick Gygi and Tres Scheibe with a mission to operate the best thrift stores in the world while generating revenue for local charities. This nonprofit social enterprise promotes thrifty living and has become a beacon of hope in Nashville, supporting various community initiatives, including assistance for refugees.
