Our Story
The Threshold has been a vital community service for over 60 years, beginning as a part-time sheltered workshop in a church basement in 1959. Over the years, it has grown significantly, with major renovations and expansions funded by generous donations from individuals and foundations. Incorporated in 1963, The Threshold continually adapts to better serve its clients, including the establishment of the Lawrence and Vivian Stockhausen Center in 2013.
