Our Story

The Foundation for TJO Animals, established in 2007, is committed to raising essential funds for the local homeless animals at the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center. This center serves the communities of Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee, Massachusetts, providing a safe haven for animals in need.

Thanks to generous donations, the Foundation ensures that a veterinarian is available at TJO for 40 hours each week, providing critical care to animals. Additionally, funding for veterinary technicians enhances shelter care, significantly improving the animals' chances for adoption.
