Our Story

In September 2000, Thomas G. Labrecque was diagnosed with lung cancer, passing away just eight weeks later. A non-smoker and a dedicated philanthropist, Tom championed quality education and access for all. He founded the Chase Smart Start Program to support students in New York and was deeply involved in various educational and health initiatives. The Thomas G. Labrecque Foundation was established in his memory to combat lung cancer through education and research.
