Anjanette, a service dog user due to back injuries, and Wayne, a firefighter and Veteran, recognized the urgent need for mental health support highlighted by The Ruderman Family Foundation. Established in 2021, TLSD embodies the spirit of those who cross the thin line of danger for the greater good.
Thin Line Service Dogs provides expertly trained service dogs at no cost to First Responders and Veterans, enhancing their quality of life. These dogs are trained to assist with both physical and mental health challenges, offering companionship and support to those who have selflessly served.
