The Theresa Living Center was established in 1987 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame to provide safe housing for single women facing homelessness or abuse. Initially serving 12 expectant mothers, the organization has grown to support single women and single-parent families in their quest for affordable housing.
Nearly 80% of funding is directed towards housing assistance and support services, helping clients overcome barriers and regain self-sufficiency.
