About Theatrikos

Founded in 1972 by a passionate group of arts leaders, Theatrikos has become a cornerstone of the Flagstaff community. The journey began in the Gopher Hole of the Weatherford Hotel, where the first production, What Did We Do Wrong?, marked the debut of a year-round theatre group. Over the past five decades, Theatrikos has produced over 200 shows, captivating audiences and nurturing local talent.

Our Home

In 1988, Theatrikos found its permanent home at the historic Doris Harper-White Playhouse, a venue that has served various purposes since its construction in 1923. This vibrant space has become a hub for creativity, hosting not only Theatrikos productions but also providing a platform for other organizations to showcase their artistic endeavors.

Impact on the Community

Theatrikos is dedicated to providing top-notch entertainment and educational programs that foster creativity and life skills among youth. The TheatriKids program continues to inspire the next generation of artists, ensuring that the love for theatre thrives in Flagstaff.
