Founded in 1998 by Peter Rothstein and Denise Prosek, Theater Latté Da is dedicated to expanding the American Musical Theater. By exploring and enhancing the art of musical theater, TLD creates new connections between story, music, artists, and audiences. The organization champions bold, inclusive, and collaborative work that resonates with contemporary audiences.
With 93 Mainstage productions, including 17 world premieres and 14 area premieres, Theater Latté Da has earned critical acclaim and numerous awards, including seven IVEY Awards for overall excellence. The production 'All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914' celebrated its 12th anniversary with a national tour and an Off-Broadway debut, winning the 2019 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience.
