Theatre Espresso creates interactive, historical dramas that engage young people and challenge them to think critically about human rights, social justice, and the law. Since 1992, this organization has toured educational dramas to schools, museums, libraries, and courthouses throughout New England, allowing students to reflect on history through participation.
With approximately 150 performances each year, Theatre Espresso significantly enhances students' understanding of historical events and contemporary issues through residencies, teacher development workshops, and curriculum study guides.
