Empowering Women and Girls Since 1870

The Young Women's Christian Association of Northwest Ohio has been a beacon of hope and empowerment for women and girls since its inception. Established during Toledo's industrial revolution, the YWCA opened its doors to provide safe housing for young women seeking opportunities in the city. Over the years, the organization has adapted its programs to meet the evolving needs of the community, offering educational and employment classes, youth development programs, and resources for child care.

Your support enables the YWCA to provide essential services such as breast health education for the uninsured, violence response services for survivors of domestic violence, and teen pregnancy education.
