About The Wisconsin Philharmonic

Founded in 1947 as the Waukesha Symphony Orchestra, The Wisconsin Philharmonic has been a cherished community treasure, providing exceptional musical experiences for over seven decades. Under the visionary leadership of its first music director, Milton Weber, the Philharmonic has created invaluable opportunities for both children and adults to engage with music. With five Masterworks performances each season, the orchestra draws audiences from six counties, including Waukesha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, Jefferson, and Racine.
