Our Story

The Willie and Sandra McBride Foundation was established by four brothers in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to honor the legacy of their parents, Willie McBride, Sr. and Sandra McBride. Willie, Sr. dedicated his life to serving the community as a police officer and later as a firefighter, while Sandra held the family together with unwavering strength and love. Inspired by their parents' commitment to community service, the foundation aims to create a safe and nurturing environment for local youth, helping them realize their full potential.

Our Impact

Through various programs, the foundation engages and empowers local youth by providing access to athletics and academics. By focusing on reducing socioeconomic barriers, the foundation helps improve health, self-esteem, and opportunities for scholarships among the youth of Bridgeport.
