The WellHouse was founded by a survivor of human trafficking who recognized the urgent need for a safe haven for victims. Located near the I-20 corridor in Woodlawn, this organization emerged from a vision to create a shelter free from the barriers that often prevent victims from receiving help. The WellHouse offers a 24-hour shelter, providing immediate assistance to women rescued from trafficking across the United States. With no prerequisites for entry, survivors can find the safety and support they need to begin their journey toward healing.
