Our Story

The Surayya Anne Foundation was established in October 2007 by women in the Tulsa Muslim community who recognized the urgent needs of female Muslim inmates re-entering society. Inspired by the humanitarian efforts of Surayya Anne, the foundation focuses on providing support to women and children facing homelessness, chronic illnesses, and other life transitions. The foundation's commitment to humanitarian aid transcends race and religion, fostering a sense of community and support.

Impact

Operating a transitional housing program, the Surayya Anne Foundation serves the working poor, homeless, survivors of domestic violence, refugees, and those with mental and physical illnesses in the Tulsa area.
