The Sumba Foundation

Our Story

The Sumba Foundation was established in 2001 by Claude and Petra Graves after witnessing the struggles of the local community in Sumba, Indonesia. The foundation focuses on alleviating poverty through sustainable development and cultural preservation, working closely with local residents to address their needs.

Impact

Over 45,000 lives have been transformed through initiatives in health, education, nutrition, and water access. The foundation has treated over 580,000 patients and supported 22 primary schools.
