Our Story
Founded in 1997, the South Boston Collaborative Center emerged in response to a tragic rise in adolescent overdoses and suicides. With the backing of the Department of Public Health and the Boston Public Health Commission, the Center provides essential counseling, education, outreach, and referral services to youth and families in South Boston and surrounding areas. In June 2017, it was re-dedicated as the 'Joseph 'Dodo' Nee South Boston Collaborative Center' to honor a key community figure whose contributions have been invaluable.
