The Simple Way began in 1995 when a group of friends moved into Kensington, Philadelphia, driven by a desire to love and care for their neighbors. Inspired by homeless families advocating for their right to stay in an abandoned church, this initiative blossomed into a community-focused organization dedicated to supporting local residents in building a thriving neighborhood.
