Our Story

Founded in 2000 by a compassionate individual in Billings, Montana, The Rim Rock Humane Society has evolved from a vision of a physical shelter to a dedicated foster home-based organization. Recognizing the challenges of maintaining a traditional shelter, RHS has embraced a model that prioritizes the well-being of animals in loving foster homes. This shift allows for a more nurturing environment, ensuring that every pet receives the care and attention they deserve.

Impact

With the generous support of individual, foundation, and corporate donors, RHS continues to make a significant difference in the lives of animals and people in the community. Our services include full pet adoption, a low-cost spay/neuter program, a Pet Food Pantry, and a Hay Bank, all aimed at promoting animal welfare.
