Our Story

The Rhizome Center for Migrants is an independent, secular nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and defending forcibly displaced persons worldwide. Based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the Mexico Project specifically aids deported and returned migrants through essential legal aid and reintegration services.

Impact

As the first and only legal aid clinic south of the border focused on post-deportation legal services, the Rhizome Center significantly enhances resources for at-risk deportees and returnees.
