Our Story

The Recovery Foundation was established in 1991 to support Arapahoe House, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to addressing substance abuse and mental health issues. After Arapahoe House ceased operations in January 2018, the Foundation restructured as a public charity. Its mission now encompasses supporting various organizations that tackle mental health challenges and provide low-income housing in Colorado. The Foundation also owns a residential treatment center in metro Denver, operated by Valley Hope, specifically designed for single mothers with young children.
