Our Story

Founded in 1968 by Len and Diane Soucy, The Raptor Trust began as a backyard initiative to care for injured raptors. By 1983, it evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, becoming a leading wild bird rehabilitation center in the United States. The Raptor Trust is dedicated to providing free medical care to injured and orphaned wild birds while promoting awareness and conservation of these magnificent creatures.

Our Impact

Over the years, The Raptor Trust has admitted more than 25,000 wild birds, with half successfully released back into their natural habitats. The organization also educates thousands annually about the vital role raptors play in our ecosystem.
