The Ranch began in 1974 as a youth ranch sponsored by the Maryland Sheriff’s Association, providing at-risk youth with a safe and supportive home. In 2015, the mission shifted to focus on adult men with substance use disorders, offering a clean and sober living environment with high-quality clinical and life-skills services.
The Ranch aims to help individuals with substance use disorders return to their communities as healthy, resilient, and productive members of society by addressing the whole person and providing comprehensive recovery services.
