Our Story

Since 1967, The Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities has been a beacon of hope in the Greater Pottstown area. Through interfaith cooperation, PCRC provides essential services, support, and spiritual guidance to those in need. Founded by Father Wilfred Penny, the organization has evolved to address critical issues such as Food Security, Housing Stability, and Supportive Services and Education.

Impact

PCRC has successfully prevented evictions by transitioning families from shelters into stable housing. The food pantry serves nearly double the number of individuals compared to previous years, amidst rising homelessness in Montgomery County. Thanks to generous donors, PCRC continues to provide vital services despite increasing costs.
