The Playmakers

Our Story

Founded in 2009 by Greg Roeszler, The Playmakers Organization emerged from a heartfelt experience coaching at Encina High School. Discovering a student athlete living in his car ignited a passion to create a supportive environment for at-risk youth. What began as a summer football camp has transformed into a comprehensive program that fosters leadership and character development through sports and academics.

With a commitment to social inclusion, The Playmakers serves over 2,000 students and athletes annually, providing free sports programs and activities for children with developmental differences and special needs.
