Our Story

The Overwatch Partnership, founded in 2016 in Columbus, Ohio, is dedicated to supporting veterans as they transition into civilian careers. Established by local veterans and business professionals who have faced the challenges of this transition, the organization understands the unique hurdles veterans encounter. By leveraging their networks and experiences, they provide mentorship and guidance to help veterans navigate the civilian job market. The term "Overwatch" signifies the essence of this mission—providing cover and support to fellow service members.

Impact

With a remarkable 93% of mentees recommending the program, The Overwatch Partnership has successfully matched over 145 mentors with more than 170 mentees. Many of these veterans face significant challenges, with 77% reporting a difficult transition to civilian life. The organization is committed to making a difference in the lives of veterans, with 42% of mentees being student veterans.
