Our Story

The Opportunity Tree has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Arizona since 1963. Evolving from the Arizona Society for the Brain Injured, it now operates in four communities, providing quality, individualized support that fosters independence and empowerment.

Connecting over 1,000 individuals annually, The Opportunity Tree ensures a continuum of care that spans generations. Its pioneering Supported Aging program enhances the lives of individuals as they navigate later stages of life, while the Fireslammers team proudly engages over 90 Special Olympics athletes in various sports.
