The North Carolina Native Plant Society is dedicated to the enjoyment and conservation of North Carolina’s native plants and their habitats. With local chapters across the state, the organization engages communities in vital activities related to native plant preservation and education.
In 2019, NCNPS reached approximately 2400 individuals through 80 sponsored activities, including field trips and educational talks. The organization provides grants, maintains a list of native plant nurseries, and offers resources to promote native plants in landscaping.
