Our Story

NewBoCo, or the New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative, was founded to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and tech education in Iowa. Established in response to the need for a vibrant startup ecosystem in Eastern Iowa after the 2008 flood, it began with the Iowa Startup Accelerator, Iowa's first tech-based accelerator program.
