The Needham Concert Society was founded in 1976 by William Gibson, a former principal trombone of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Since its incorporation in 1985, the society has dedicated itself to presenting exceptional live performances to the Needham community and nurturing local talent through annual music festivals.
