Our Story
The Morton Center was founded in 1984 by Jane Morton Norton and John P. Walsh in memory of U.S. Senator Thruston B. Morton. This organization has evolved from its original Intensive Outpatient Program in partnership with Our Lady of Peace Hospital to a comprehensive treatment center in Louisville, KY, dedicated to treating the whole person, not just their addiction.
