Our Story
Mary Quinn was a beacon of joy and resilience, born into a loving family in Floral Park. Despite facing challenges such as Down Syndrome, congenital heart disease, and respiratory conditions, Mary lived life with an infectious smile and an unwavering spirit. Her journey inspired everyone around her, showcasing the true essence of friendship and inclusion.
Mary's vibrant personality shone through her active participation in her community. From enjoying afternoons at the local pool and park to sharing laughs at Friendly Nail Salon and Village Pizzeria, Mary embraced every moment. She was a cherished member of Our Lady of Victory School, where her classmates supported her wholeheartedly, and later, she proudly joined the Florettes Kickline Team at Floral Park Memorial High School.
In memory of Mary, The Mary Quinn's Mark Foundation was established to advocate for the inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities. The foundation aims to foster awareness that inclusion is not just beneficial but a fundamental right for everyone.
