The Martha Project

Our Story

The Martha Project was founded by Nicole Derseweh to honor her grandmother, Martha Ann, who believed in the power of food to connect and care for others. Launched in early 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this organization focuses on delivering plant-based meals and fostering human connection for those without shelter in local communities.

Impact

For every $25 donated, five individuals in the community receive a nutritious meal, a smile, and a heartfelt conversation. Since its inception, The Martha Project has actively provided meals and protective equipment to the houseless community.
