Our Story
The Macatawa Resource Center (MRC) was born from the belief that collaboration amplifies community impact. Breaking new ground in Holland, Michigan, MRC faced early challenges, particularly in securing funding. However, the unwavering support from local churches, individuals, and businesses helped MRC evolve into a vital community hub located at 665 136th Avenue. Here, MRC offers a unique blend of services, allowing families to access food assistance, advocacy, and even multilingual church services all under one roof.
Families in need can find support through our Sunday Breakfast program, receive referrals to the Advocacy Resource Center for additional help, and even access pet food through our Furry Friends Food Pantry. MRC stands as the first nonprofit of its kind in the area, showcasing the power of internal referrals and networking to meet the holistic needs of our community.
