Our Story

The Louisville Leopard Percussionists were founded in 1993 by Diane Downs, who discovered old instruments in a school storage closet. This initiative blossomed into a vibrant 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2003, dedicated to providing enriching musical experiences to children in the Louisville community.
