Our Story

Founded in 1985, The Lighthouse Foundation is a Christian outreach organization dedicated to meeting the needs of impoverished individuals and families in northern Allegheny and Butler Counties. By providing immediate relief and empowering individuals toward self-sufficiency, The Lighthouse Foundation encourages hope in Christ.

Impact

As the largest food pantry in Butler County, The Lighthouse Foundation is the sole provider of transitional housing for young adults, single parents, and families in the area. Through faith-based job training and financial literacy programs, individuals and families are guided toward self-sufficiency.
