Our Story

The Library at Cedar Creek Lake began its journey in the 1970s as a humble bookmobile, serving the community of Seven Points, Texas. Over the years, it has transformed from a small collection of books into a fully accredited library, becoming a vital cultural hub for the area. In 1998, the library was officially named The Library at Cedar Creek Lake, thanks to the dedication of local leaders and volunteers who envisioned a brighter future for their community.

Today, the library serves as a beacon of knowledge and learning, offering a wide range of services and resources to meet the diverse needs of its patrons. More than two-thirds of its funding comes from generous donations and fundraising efforts, highlighting the importance of community support.
