Our Story
The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) is committed to empowering deaf and hard of hearing children and adults. With over 50 years of experience, TLC fosters a bilingual and bicultural community where American Sign Language (ASL) is the primary mode of communication.
Impact
Currently, TLC serves over 200 students on campus and more than 400 off-campus, providing vital services such as audiology, interpreting, and educational programs. The organization has been recognized with significant funding, including a $200,000 grant as a semifinalist in the Yass Prize.
