About The Kristen Ann Carr Fund
Established in 1993 after the passing of Kristen Ann Carr, this foundation emerged from a landmark benefit concert by Bruce Springsteen, raising $1.5 million for sarcoma research. It is the first foundation solely focused on understanding and treating sarcoma, funding over 30 doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and creating a dedicated sarcoma laboratory.

Since its inception, the Kristen Ann Carr Fund has significantly advanced sarcoma research and treatment, currently engaged in a $10 million capital campaign to expand the Kristen Ann Carr Sarcoma Center.
