Our Story
The Korean American Foundation Hawaii (KAFH) was established in 1999 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Korean immigration to the United States. Originally known as the Centennial Committee of Korean Immigration to the United States, KAFH has evolved to promote Korean culture, heritage, and history through various community events and educational initiatives. The foundation maintains the Centennial Monument at Pawaa In-Ha Park and Puuiki Cemetery in Waialua, serving as a reminder of the contributions of Korean Americans.
