Our Story

The Joshua Tree Community was founded in 2014 by Amy Singer, inspired by her experiences in the public school system and the need to support young adults with intellectual disabilities who have aged out of public education. Named in honor of her brother Joshua, who passed away from cancer, the organization symbolizes growth and strong community roots.
