Our Story

The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Mercer was established in 1963 as part of the Trenton Federation. With a mission to create a sustainable legacy for the Jewish community, the Foundation collaborates with local agencies, synagogues, and charitable organizations to support both local and global initiatives.

Tracing its roots back to 1845, the Foundation has a rich history of serving the Jewish community in the Princeton Mercer Bucks area. From aiding immigrants in the 1930s to the leadership of Albert Einstein in the 1940s, the Foundation has continually evolved to meet the needs of its community.

Today, the Foundation remains committed to fostering a vibrant Jewish community through endowments and resources, ensuring that future generations can thrive.
