Our Story
The Japanese Medical Society of America was established in 1973 by dedicated Japanese medical professionals in New York. This nonprofit organization unites healthcare providers, including physicians, dentists, and nurses, to support the Japanese and Japanese-American communities across the United States.
Our Impact
Since its inception, JMSA has awarded scholarships to outstanding medical, dental, and nursing students, as well as postdoctoral researchers. The organization has also provided crucial medical support and financial aid to victims of the 3/11 Tohoku Earthquake, alongside conducting healthcare seminars for the local Japanese community.
